Dr. Ellen Mahoney grew up locally and has strong family ties to the community. She is committed to providing exceptional primary care to the children or Wayland and surrounding towns. She truly enjoys the time she spends with patients of all ages and loves the privilege of getting to know families as they grow and change.

Dr. Mahoney is a board certified pediatrician. She received her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts and did her pediatric training at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island through Brown University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Mahoney has been practicing pediatrics in the Boston area for over a decade and has become familiar with the local medical systems and resources.

Dr. Mahoney lives with her husband and children in Needham and spends her free time hiking, running or skiing. She is excited to be a part of Wayland Pediatrics and is happily accepting pediatric and adolescent patients.



Dr. Maya Dor joined Wayland Pediatrics in July 2015, shortly after completing her pediatric training at UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Dr. Dor is a board certified pediatrician. She returned to Massachusetts for her pediatric training after receiving her medical degree from the University Of New England College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. She grew up locally and has enjoyed serving children and families as a primary care pediatrician in the community.

She is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Dor enjoys taking care of children of all ages, and has special interests in newborn and adolescent medicine, as well as in nutrition. Outside of pediatrics she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her children and husband. Dr. Dor is accepting new pediatric and adolescent patients.


Nancy Crowley, cPNP: Nancy is a pediatric nurse practitioner with more thank 20 years of experience. She is an Arlington native and has worked around the Boston area as a nurse and nurse practitioner. She came to us from a practice in Wellesley and has been joined by many patients who adore her. She has special interest in asthma management, childhood development and behavior. Nancy lives in Waltham with her husband and 4 children.









Katie Warner, LICSW, is a clinical social worker with over 10 years of professional experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. She received her BA from Middlebury College where she studied Theatre Arts and her MSW from Simmons College School of Social Work. She began her career as an Early Intervention service coordinator in East Boston and surrounding areas—providing direct developmental support to young children, facilitating parent/caregiver support and psychoeducational groups, as well as leading social skills playgroups. After leaving the EI field, she transitioned to outpatient psychotherapy—primarily supporting young people with developmental and behavioral needs and their parents. Katie most commonly uses elements of CBT, mindfulness, and expressive therapy approaches in her work. She is passionate about identifying and encouraging the unique strengths of each person and family she sees. When not at the office, Katie enjoys dancing, hiking, and spending time with her family.



Dr. Back and her husband are enjoying an active retirement, travelling, biking and watching their grandchildren grow.
